Stevens Industries, Inc. in Teutopolis, IL is seeking an experienced forklift operator who is safety-focused and dependable.

In this hands-on role, you will load, unload, transport, and organize materials to keep production moving while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety procedures. You will support production workstations, inspect inbound materials, verify outgoing shipments, and collaborate with warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• Proven forklift operating experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to frequently climb on and off a forklift throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment and safe material-handling practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials throughout our facilities.
• Deliver raw materials to production workstations to keep operations on track.
• Move and stack products safely in designated storage areas, pallets, and crates.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Verify outgoing shipments meet company quality standards and match shipping documentation.
• Perform routine forklift inspections, identify maintenance concerns, and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory information and activity logs.
• Work alongside production and warehouse teams to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Keep Things Moving! Load, unload, transport, and organize materials throughout our facilities.
• Support Production! Deliver raw materials to production workstations to keep operations on track.
• Stay Organized! Move and stack products safely in designated storage areas, pallets, and crates.
• Quality Matters! Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Get It Right! Verify outgoing shipments meet company quality standards and match shipping documentation.
• Safety Comes First! Perform routine forklift inspections, identify maintenance concerns, and follow all safety procedures.
