Clayton Homes is seeking a motivated forklift operator to join the Clayton Supply unit. You will load/unload trucks, inspect materials, and sign packing slips while following receiving procedures to keep production flowing smoothly.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience and strong communication, with the ability to solve problems and maintain accurate shipping paperwork in a fast-paced environment. Full-time benefits support work/life balance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in loading/unloading of trucks and inspect materials for quality; sign packing slips.
• Follow all check-in and storage requirements as outlined in the receiving handbook.
• Ensure materials levels of production areas are maintained.
• Notate paperwork for shipping purposes clearly and accurately.
• Maintain orderly packing and shipping documentation.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in loading/unloading of trucks, inspecting materials for quality, and signing packing slips
• Follow all check-in and storage requirements as outlined in the receiving handbook
• Ensure materials levels of production areas are maintained
• Ability to properly notate paperwork for shipping purposes

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Previous Forklift Experience Preferred
• Ability to solve problems
• Strong communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION

• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Excellent peripheral and close-range vision abilities required, including close-range and excellent peripheral vision
