Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Sanitation Associate for the 3rd shift in Romeoville, IL. The role involves cleaning production equipment using COP/CIP, maintaining charts, and ensuring GMP and food safety compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in a manufacturing setting, plus strong communication skills and the ability to train others. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year manufacturing experience.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train other associates in sanitation and environmental operations.
• Willingness to work as part of a self-directed work team.
• Proficiency with Rich’s SCADA system and basic safety guidelines.
• Understanding GMP and Food Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles and sets up production equipment; cleans with COP and CIP systems.
• Maintains CIP charts and logs; tracks sanitation materials.
• Takes inventory of sanitation supplies; verifies CIP with bioluminescence tech.
• Follows the plant Master Cleaning Schedule; basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Trains new associates on required sanitation skills.
• Maintains a safe, orderly work area per GMP and safety rules.
• Operates Rich’s SCADA system and completes related paperwork.
• May train in other plant areas as required by Skillblock program.
