Job summary

Richelieu Foods, Inc. in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Sanitation Technician for the third shift to clean and sanitize production equipment and plant areas.

You will follow SSOPs, the MSS, and safety requirements to prepare the facility for pre-operational inspection and the next production shift. Responsibilities include using hoses, brushes, power washers, and floor scrubbers; coordinating with QA on findings; and completing sanitation training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 3 months sanitation experience in GMP environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow English sanitation docs.
• Ability to identify sanitation, equipment, and safety concerns.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment and plant areas per SSOPs and MSS.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as trained.
• Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Follow GMPs and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Coordinate with QA to address sanitation findings.
• Complete required safety and sanitation trainings.
