Job summary

Vienna Beef LTD is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 3rd shift to ensure product quality from line to final packaging. You will work closely with production to perform checks, uphold GMP standards, and support sanitation and food-safety programs.

The role requires knowledge of GMPs, HACCP/SQF, and sanitation protocols, with a focus on line inspections, sample preparation, and calibration activities to maintain quality across the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in food quality preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP/SQF, and sanitation procedures.
• Forklift training and operation policies knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the accuracy and quality of all products that are shipped by working alongside production to conduct on-the-line checks of product specifications and quality standards.
• GMPs – Visual Inspection and enforce GMPs throughout the facility, QA Lab Daily GMP Audit – especially packaging.
• Performs metal detection, check weights, and packaging/case integrity, calibrate thermometers.
• Monitors employee and machine performance during operational inspections.
• Prepares and takes samples.
• Monitors the storage and transfer of packaging supplies, ensuring they meet sanitation requirements.
• Follow Hold Procedure & Quarantine process.
• Verify and conducts temperature checks through facility.
• Production Inspection.
• End of shift room release for sanitation.
