3rd Shift - Quality Assurance Technician

Department: Quality

Reports to: Quality Supervisor/Quality Manager

The 3rd Shift QA Technician is a full-time (40 hrs/wk) position covering Sunday-Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM based at Circle's manufacturing headquarters. No remote work option.

Key Responsibilities

• Working alongside and coaching the production team to ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Batch testing: pH, Brix, TA, sensory testing.
• Batch record creation, review, and filing.
• Production printer setup, changes, and print verification.
• Oversee Retainer Sample Library.
• Inbound ingredient document control: COA, SDS, etc.
• Production‑related chemical usage and inventory.
• EMP swabbing.
• 3rd Party sample capture, preparation, and delivery to a 3rd‑party lab.
• Manage equipment calibration program.
• Help lead corrective action investigation and logging.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years leading or overseeing a food/beverage manufacturing quality program.
• Eligibility to work in the USA.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in HACCP and SQF food safety systems. Preferred, but not required: certification in HACCP, PCQI, and/or SQF Practitioner.
• Proven track record of dedication to making safety and quality a top priority and working collaboratively in a team environment.
