Qualifications

• 90% mechanical and 10% electrical maintenance duties.
• Must come from food manufacturing - co-packaging industry.
• Experience working on packaging equipment.
• Multiskilled mechanic/technician capable of varied tasks.
• Knowledge of volt-meter use and power tools.
• Prefers schooling or years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, report issues to the maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts and jobs.
• Perform work safely in accordance with GMPs.
