Michigan Turkey Producers Co-op in Wyoming, MI seeks a 3rd Shift Machine Maintenance Technician Level 3 to perform preventative maintenance, repairs and projects on plant equipment, ensuring safety and quality in a food-processing environment.

This hands-on role requires PLC/VFD electrical troubleshooting, food-grade TIG welding, and the ability to work under supervision of the Maintenance and Refrigeration Manager while adhering to USDA/HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Accredited Certification in Machine repair; 5 years experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting with PLC and VFD experience.
• TIG welding stainless steel to food-grade standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills.
• Must wear personal protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment in a timely, thorough, and efficient manner.
• Respond to line calls in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Track parts usage and order replacement parts within budget.
• Manage contracted projects from start to finish.
• Assist Refrigeration Specialists as required; participate in HAZMAT.
