Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or facilities setting
• Experience leading, coaching, or directing maintenance personnel in a shift-based or production support environment
• Strong hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems required
• Experience with industrial utilities including boilers, compressed air, electrical systems, and HVAC

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to facilities technicians
• Assist Facilities Manager in assigning work, manage shift priorities, and ensure proper coverage for utilities, building systems, and grounds upkeep
• Support a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Participate in hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency response as needed
• Support operations by coordinating fast and effective troubleshooting during equipment downtime
• Maintain proper documentation and use of CMMS for maintenance planning and tracking
