Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a 3rd shift team member to monitor product during processing and coordinate equipment adjustments with receiving, floor operators and the grinding room. You will operate computers, read voltages, and manage basic electrical tasks while following safety rules.

Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, be able to work in a loud, wet environment, and perform QA/HACCP duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of continuous work history with a single employer in past 12 months.
• Must have a valid State Driver's License.
• Willingness to participate in team efforts and read/write training materials.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product during the processing phase and coordinate equipment adjustments.
• Operate computers and basic electrical equipment in the facility.
• Reset breakers, starters, and variable frequency drives as needed.
• Identify motor controls and relay information for lockout to teammates.
• Respond to alarms and follow plant safety rules; perform QA/HACCP duties as assigned.
• Communicate via two-way radio with team members.
• Work in a loud, wet or humid environment with exposure to moving parts and chemicals.
