Job summary

Fortis Solutions Group in Ellington, CT is hiring a flexo press operator to run our Mark Andy P5 press on the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 10:00pm to 6:00am, with training on 1st shift for 4–6 weeks.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of printing production experience, familiarity with flexographic or related printing processes, and strong mechanical aptitude. You will set up plates, inks and coatings, monitor quality, and maintain clean, safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of printing-related production experience (flexographic preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate a flexographic printing press and set up plates, dies, inks, and coatings.
• Log production data and inspect print quality for color registration and die cuts.
• Load substrates, mount or strip plates, and perform basic press housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot press with supervisor and maintain safe work environment.
• Follow safety regulations and participate in continuous improvement.
