Job summary

High Transit in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Fleet Technician to support our 3rd‑shift team. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Peterbilt trucks, flatbeds, cranes, and other heavy equipment, ensuring safety and reliability across our fleet.

This role requires 1–5+ years of fleet maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work Sundays through Thursdays from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of fleet maintenance experience.
• A valid Driver’s license is required.
• Class 7 State Inspection and Emissions license preferred; training available.
• Welding experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform local, state, and federal inspections on all types of equipment.
• Repair Peterbilt trucks, flatbed trailers, overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Conduct brake reconditioning, suspension repairs, and replacement of components.
• Repair tractor electronics.
• Complete welding repairs.
• Occasional road service duties; work outdoors as needed.
