Job summary

Sumitomo Biorational is seeking a Production Operator for our Osage, IA fermentation facility. You will operate production equipment, including fermenters, sterilizers, centrifuges, and filtration systems, following safety policies and quality standards to meet production goals.

The role offers a 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday) with competitive pay and benefits, including health coverage from day one, 401(k) with company match, and a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prefer a 2-year technical degree or related experience.
• Must be able to obtain an industrial truck license and use computerized interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate fermentation equipment and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Prepare media, manage sterilization, filtration and related processes.
• Adjust equipment with technicians to optimize performance.
• Use computerized interfaces to monitor and adjust critical equipment.
• Complete required documentation and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform in-process testing and routine preventative maintenance.
