Job summary

Sumco-Group-LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a 3rd shift Skilled Maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

You will troubleshoot equipment, supervise projects as needed, operate welders, ohmmeters, and logic controllers, and coordinate with the team to keep tenant services running smoothly.

Experience in facilities maintenance and strong mechanical aptitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, welding techniques, and logic controllers is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct residential painting and minor renovations as needed.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring quality standards are met.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to tenant requests in a timely manner.
