Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation is seeking a Fabrication Technician for the 3rd shift to produce, assemble, and finish components according to engineering drawings. You will set up and operate fabrication equipment, measure and shape materials to tight tolerances, and ensure quality throughout the process.

The role requires reading blueprints, 1–3 years of fabrication experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years fabrication/machining/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery; strong measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprint, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment (e.g., saws, presses, CNC machines, welding equipment, or cutting tools).
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials to precise specifications.
• Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing tasks as required.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure quality and tolerances.
• Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment; report issues.
• Adhere to safety regulations and keep an organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues.
