Job summary

Bonnell Aluminum in Newnan, GA is seeking an Extrusion Operator for the 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 9:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.) with possible Saturday work. Starting pay is $22.40 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential, with overtime potential in a safety‑driven facility.

You will load ovens, monitor scrap, operate an overhead crane, load materials, and run the stretcher operation. You must read a tape measure, interpret shop orders, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while keeping a clean, safe workstation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Must pass a skills-based test.
• Able to read and understand a tape measure.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a company background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and start Age Ovens; unload Age Ovens.
• Operate an Overhead Crane.
• Monitor and remove press scrap.
• Stage racks; load metal and spacers.
• Run stretcher operation and input parameters.
• Visually monitor parts for over-stretch or under-stretch.
• Operate saws and ensure safety.
• Read and understand a tape measure.
• Assist other personnel per supervisor.
• Report equipment problems to Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Accept feedback to meet safety standards.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
