Job summary

Bonnell Aluminum is seeking an Extrusion Operator 1 for the 3rd shift (Sunday night to Wednesday night, 9:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.), with potential Friday hours. Starting pay ranges from $20.96 to $27.52 per hour, depending on aluminum extrusion experience.

The role involves running the extrusion press, die changes, inspection, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Qualifications include reading a tape measure, ability to operate an overhead crane, micrometers, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be conscientious, diplomatic, and detail oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Running the Extrusion Press.
• Inspecting parts for quality and surface defects.
• Monitoring and removing press scrap.
• Performing visual checks of parts and products.
• Monitoring temperature and process parameters.
• Reading a tape measure and applying measurements.
• Assisting other personnel and performing duties as required per supervisor.
• Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or safety concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, organized workstation.
• Participating in a collaborative environment and following safety policies.
