Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping and receiving operations. You will use RF guns to scan merchandise, move items with industrial lift equipment, and load/unload goods from staging areas to racks and docks. A high school diploma and ability to pass a 250 lb push/pull lift assessment are required.

The role requires independent work in a fast-paced, light industrial setting with safety as a priority. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Able to pass lift assessment with push/pull requirement of 250 lbs.
• Experience operating electric lift, forklift and tugger.
• Experience and ability to operate an RF gun.

Responsibilities

• Pick up product from Staging Area and off load onto Rack Shelving units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks and scan merchandise using RF gun.
• Unload from Rack Shelving Units, Floor locations, or Stack Racks to Dock/Bay area with RF scanning.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow safety programs.
• Operate Lift Equipment and move product with care to prevent damage.

Summary/ObjectiveThis position will require a knowledge of both Shipping & Receiving processes. Flexibility in job assignments as well as the versatility to work both equally well.
