Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Receiving Equipment Operator to accurately put away product throughout the distribution center. You will use a cherry picker lift and RF scanners to locate, lift, and store items safely. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.

Expect 40ft lift operation, flexible hours (Mon-Fri, some Saturdays), and a comprehensive benefits package. Competitive starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.
• Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions.

Job Title

Receiving Equipment Operator

Job Overview

The Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties. Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
• Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product.
• Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift into proper location on the storage racks.
• Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals.
• Contribute to a company culture that champions honesty, integrity, diversity, and community.
• All other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Monday - Friday (Saturdays as needed), 2:00pm Start time.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
