Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Sector facility in Amarillo, TX is seeking a 3rd Shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

The role requires reading blueprints and working with PLCs and HMI systems. Ideal candidates bring 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, the ability to read schematics, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Amarillo, TX Loc will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment/machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
• Maintain and secure tools and repair equipment. Maintain/clean work areas.
• Communicate equipment/plant status as required.
• Maintain and follow all safety requirements and ensure compliance by maintenance personnel.
• Operate a variety of lifts etc.
• Work with Operations team members and leaders in work area to ensure uptime on equipment and repairs complete and effective with operations team.
• Share learnings and train/cross train with coworkers to ensure knowledge is shared by maintenance team.
• Other duties as assigned.
