Job summary

Henderson Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment and plant systems. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment, including installations, upgrades, and start-up projects.

Shifts may include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and control systems, and support plant utilities and

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or production.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial motors, controls, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic and mechanical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair industrial motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, sensors, safety circuits, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers, and other control systems.
• Read schematics and mechanical drawings; install and modify electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and other automation systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Rebuild and fabricate components; complete scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Assist operators and team with troubleshooting equipment and repairs.
