Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to service electro-mechanical equipment including robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers, and other systems at the Sturtevant facility and regionally.

The role involves daily maintenance, on-site troubleshooting, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, while maintaining inventory and supporting site operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with assemblies and production equipment.
• Welding experience for basic repair work.
• Electrical knowledge to identify and repair issues.
• PLC troubleshooting on PLC-controlled machines.
• Ability to work 3rd shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of equipment.
• Hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs.
• Coordinate spare parts and travel with Service/Engineering.
• Assemble, align, and install equipment and upgrades.
• Interface with plant operations, global operations, and suppliers.
• Coordinate downtime with Plant Managers.
• Report weekly on tasks completed and outstanding.
• Provide remote service assistance to get plants back in production.
• Maintain Washsmart inventory with plant management.
