Fresh Mark, Inc. in Salem, Ohio, is seeking an EHS Coordinator on 3rd shift to help maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with safety and health procedures.

The role develops and implements safety management processes at the site level and supports corporate objectives within Fresh Mark, Inc.'s philosophy. Responsibilities include training on lockout/tagout, hazard communication, hearing protection, emergency procedures, and accident investigations.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Experience leading safety initiatives and programs preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Recognize hazards and identify conditions or actions that may cause injury or property damage.
• Conduct inspections and audits to assess safety and health risks.
• Provide employees with knowledge to recognize hazards and perform their jobs safely.
• Assist in establishing regulatory objectives and safety programs at the site level.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations and stay updated on changes.
• Provide training on lockout/tagout, hazard communication, hearing protection, emergency procedures, and machine guarding.
• Participate in the accident investigation program.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety programs.
• Lead the facility Safety Committee and participate in compliance teams to ensure consistency.
