Responsibilities

• Recognize hazards to identify conditions or actions that may cause injury, illness or property damage.
• Conduct inspections and audits to assess safety and health risks.
• Provide training to employees on safety topics.
• Assist managers to establish regulatory objectives and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
• Lead and participate in safety committees and compliance teams.
• Participate in accident investigation programs.
• Monitor employee compliance with safety programs.
