Reading Truck in Reading, PA seeks an E-Coat Hanger / Scape / Prep Skilled for 3rd shift. You will help prepare truck bodies for the E-Coat process, ensuring an even finish and compliance with process requirements.

You will operate precision scraping and sanding tools and handle heavy parts and inventory movements. The role emphasizes hands-on use of hand tools, loading/unloading equipment, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on metal finishing with sanding and scraping focus.
• Ability to work safely with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up precision scraping and sanding tools.
• Sand and scrape internal and external surfaces to required dimensions.
• Use hand tools: drill, rivet gun, wrenches and caulk gun.
• Load/unload very heavy equipment.
• Move parts from inventory according to job orders.
