Job summary

Judd Wire Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, seeks a 3rd Shift E-Beam (Irradiation) Operator at Turners Falls, MA. You will operate irradiation equipment per SOPs, monitor dosage, and keep detailed records while rotating among E-beam roles.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1-3 months transferrable experience. Training provided after hire; benefits include medical, dental, vision and more. Join a skilled team in a high-tech wire company.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
1-3 months transferrable experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Team player with willingness to learn.
PIV Training and certification will be completed after hire.

Responsibilities

Operate irradiation equipment control panel following SOPs, work orders and instructions.
Monitor samples to ensure correct irradiation dosage and maintain records.
Inspect wire/cable before machine setup and refer improper cases to the correct department.
Maintain equipment and work area; assist minor repairs as needed; keep vault clean.
Cross-train on all E-beams and rotate as scheduled.
Report any defects or unsafe conditions to supervision.
