Job summary

Judd Wire Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a 3rd shift Multi-Line Extruder operator for our Turners Falls, MA manufacturing facility. You will set up and operate multi-head/tandem extrusion lines, jacket a wide range of wire and cable products, and run two extruders as needed to meet demand.

The position offers an hourly wage range of $22.63–$28.03 with a $3.00 per hour shift differential, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and basic math skills required.
• Willingness to learn and teamwork are essential.
• 3+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in extrusion preferred.
• Ability to plan set ups for multi-head/multi-line extruders and meet specs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up multi-line extruders on third shift.
• Schedule production and consolidate runs for efficiency.
• Adjust dies, leaders, temperatures, speeds and feeds to meet specs.
• Inspect and test products for quality, maintain equipment.
