Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking manufacturing personnel for Byesville, OH. The role involves performing demanding assembly tasks, reading work instructions, and using torque tools and measuring devices.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance).
• Maintain a clean work area and meet quality standards.
• Cross-train on other jobs as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties following standardized work procedures.
• Actively participate in safety, quality, attendance, productivity and housekeeping improvements.
• Operate torque wrenches, air tools, presses, gauges, hoist, and computer systems.
• Read and follow Work Station Instructions and BOM/spec sheets.
• Diagnose issues and assist in building assembly per OE specs.
