Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Manager, Distribution (3rd Shift) in Lebanon, IN to supervise Warehouse Associates and Team Leads. This role drives daily workload priorities, timekeeping, safety, and process improvements within the PSLD division.

The position requires 3rd shift availability (Sun–Thu 11:00 PM–7:00 AM ET) and up to 10% travel. Salary range is $72,360–$108,540 with robust benefits; sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the decision-making process and tools; ability to analyze situations and make informed judgments.
• Understanding of effective communication concepts; ability to transmit and interpret information clearly.
• Knowledge of planning and organizing tasks and resources to complete work methodically.
• Knowledge of problem-solving approaches and tools to resolve issues.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Determine priorities of daily workload for value stream.
• Determine overtime needs and priorities when resources are short; apply disciplinary action when necessary.
• Manage employee hours through time-keeping systems.
• Ensure production meets safety, quality, velocity, and cost standards.
• Ensure necessary parts and materials are ordered and distributed in a timely manner.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
• Improve processes to reduce non-value-added activities and costs.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed as scheduled.
• Lead CPS-related duties and continuous improvement efforts.
