Job summary

Caterpillar Logistics Services is hiring an Inventory Coordinator at our Lebanon, IN facility. This role involves operating heavy equipment, performing inventory control, and coordinating receipts and discrepancies on the warehouse floor.

Starting pay is competitive for a 3rd shift position, with a focus on accuracy and safety. The role requires at least 6 months in inventory in a warehouse setting, ability to work overtime, and a willingness to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of facility or warehouse inventory experience.
• Willingness to support Continuous Improvement projects.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Customer service skills beneficial.
• Experience with Order Pickers is a plus.
• Inventory experience and computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect heavy equipment including sit-down forklift, pallet jack and overhead hoists.
• Perform material handling, warehousing functions, order filling, storage, and parts picking.
• Reconcile inventory, receipts, and location discrepancies; manage on-hand material.
• Train employees on processes and ensure accuracy in inventory control.
• Work on the warehouse floor and support inventory needs for Caterpillar.
• Coordinate with supervisor and team leads to address location and receipt issues.
• Conduct regular inventory and receipt audits as directed.
