Job summary

Qualifications

• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Experience in corrugated packaging or similar manufacturing preferred.
• At least six months of experience as an Assistant Machine Operator preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic math skills including measurements and percentages.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Flexible scheduling, including potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up print and die cut sections of die cutters according to setup techniques.
• Operate assigned equipment to the best of your ability.
• Train and assist the Assistant Machine Operator and Machine Helper.
• Cross-train on additional machines and support other areas as needed.
• Complete production, quality, and safety reports accurately and on time.
• Submit maintenance requests and proactively maintain equipment.
• Adhere to the production schedule and suggest improvements.
• Report scheduling issues to the Supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping practices.
• Wear required PPE and participate in safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
