Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs is seeking a Compounding Technician to join our team in New Albany, OH. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on precise compounding of personal care products with strong emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork.

You will mix, process, and test ingredients, ensure batch quality and customer specifications, and work closely with supervision to maintain production flow. The position requires at least 2 years of compounding experience and a high school diploma, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of compounding experience; cosmetic or personal care environment preferred.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and dependability.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and follow all company policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math proficiency (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to interpret instructions and carry them out effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mix, compound, process, test, adjust, and modify ingredients to complete the manufacturing process of personal care products.
• Ensure all production meets customer specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Compounding Supervisor/Manager and production staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Maintain strict compliance with GMP, SOP, and Safety Procedures at all times.
• Inspect and monitor in-process production for accuracy and compliance.
• Safely handle, store, and manage all materials required for production.
• Adhere to all OSHA regulations, safety policies, labor laws, and company standards.
• Inspect and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Participate in ongoing company training, including GMP, SOP, safety, and cross-training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
