Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support production activities in Wisconsin. You will visually inspect products during operation, assist with setup and running of production equipment, and help maintain clean manufacturing spaces.

You will also ensure proper labeling, document runs, and participate in training new staff. The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience, with strong mechanical, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma.
• Minimum two years of experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).
• Strong mechanical, communication, time management, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills; computer skills including Microsoft Word/Excel and Lotus Notes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stoop/climb ladders or stairs; stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to wear a respirator; hear an alarm; identify small defects; distinguish between colors.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect the product during operation; observe equipment/process for proper operation; seek maintenance assistance and recommend improvements.
• Assist with setup and running of production equipment.
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection; keep work area clean and orderly.
• Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
• Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Logbooks, and Time Sheets.
• Assist in training new personnel in the manufacturing operation as directed.
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc. as instructed.
• Coordinate work of other Operators and act as backup to Senior Operator as directed.
