Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a hands-on manufacturing operator to support coil production. The role requires reading blueprints, operating fin presses and related equipment, and ensuring quality and safety in daily tasks.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and perform basic calculations. A multi-tasking mindset and alertness are essential for successful performance in this position.

Position Description

Must have strong summary of knowledge in processes, prints and procedures which include basic hands on proficiency in the following areas where needed:Fin Press/Sheet Metal, and Tubing as well as any other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment.Assist less experienced operators in setting up and troubleshooting problems.Able to execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.

• Help coordinate schedule requirements and execute under supervisor's directions.
• Approves and monitors quality and safety requirements.
• Makes sure work area is left clean and organized
• Ability to use equipment. This includes any equipment in area assigned, such as fin presses, expanders, cutoffs, benders, hand tools, and any related equipment such as cranes. Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blue prints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues. Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Must be able to read blue prints.
• Must have complete understanding of CCP paperwork used to manufacture coils.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Hoists or helpers must be used in excess of that.
• Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• These positions require mental and visual alertness.
