Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a coil build operator with hands-on proficiency in coil manufacturing and related procedures. The role supports setup, execution of schedules, and safety in manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints, perform calculations, and assist in training while handling various coil-building tasks and related equipment throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, read blueprints, and report tool wear.
• Must read blueprints.
• Ability to make basic adjustments to equipment to keep process in control.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk; bending and stooping required.
• Multitasking to keep things progressing.
• Requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.
• Assist in personnel training as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up equipment in the coil build area.
• Identify required tooling and ensure work is correct.
• Make arithmetic calculations and read a bill of material.
• Use measuring devices and related equipment in area.
• Pull parts for next order; install fins and lace tubes per drawings.
