Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking an Overlay Support Technician to assist Electron Beam Physical Vapor Deposition (EBPVD) coating operations in a manufacturing setting. You will prepare tooling, perform turnarounds, set up coating chambers, and support production to ensure equipment readiness, process compliance, and product quality.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to read and follow process instructions, and capability to operate ovens and grit machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow process instructions and part-specific work instructions.
• Ability to perform EBPVD coater turnarounds and support coating process equipment maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate ovens, grit machines, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support EBPVD coating operations by preparing tooling, equipment, and production materials.
• Perform turnarounds of EBPVD coaters and support coating process equipment.
• Set up coating chambers, surveys, rakes, and tooling per work instructions and process requirements.
• Grit, prepare, maintain, and inspect EBPVD tooling.
• Prepare, build, and process EBPVD rakes for production use.
• Operate ovens, grit machines, and related equipment.
• Read and follow process specifications and part-specific requirements.
• Assist production schedules while maintaining quality and process compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use PPE.
