Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a CNC/SMC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on the 3rd shift. You will operate CNC machinery, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet customer specifications. Training on 1st/2nd shifts is required for up to 4–6 weeks, with potential overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and drawings.
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards in a production environment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs and handling manual tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Load materials into CNC/router cradle.
  • Operate CNC/router and mold press equipment per procedures.
  • Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
  • Record production data and scrap parts accurately.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet standards.
  • Identify and report defects to supervisor.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and housekeeping.
