Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Brooklyn Park, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for the 3rd shift. You will safely maintain and repair CNC equipment and machining centers across Mazak, G&L, Haas, and Okuma platforms, performing preventative and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

• Equivalent or 4 years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repair in a manufacturing, operations, or high-volume facility.
• Ability to read and interpret machine blueprints and drawings.
• Prior experience with CNC maintenance and repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown maintenance and repair of CNC equipment and lathes/mills, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC and production equipment.
• Interpret diagrams and repair manuals for diagnostics and repairs.
• Operate forklifts, man lifts, and other equipment as needed.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment to maintain production uptime.
