Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for the 3rd shift. You will set up CNC mills and lathes from blueprints, edit programs with G and M codes, and perform in-process quality checks to keep tight tolerances on schedule.

This hands-on role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, reading blueprints, operating multiple machines, and maintaining safe, efficient work practices.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part specs.
• Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine using G and M codes.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, profile projectors).
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and safety focus.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to export-control requirements.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other production machines from blueprints and part specifications.
• Edit existing CNC programs at the control using G and M code.
• Troubleshoot machining issues when parts, tooling, or programs do not run as expected.
• Adjust tool offsets, machine settings, speeds, and feeds to meet exact dimensional and quality requirements.
• Inspect parts during production using calipers, micrometers, and profile projectors.
• Operate and monitor multiple machines at the same time during the shift.
• Support a safe, organized work area and contribute to ongoing quality and process improvements.
