Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for its 2nd shift in Cincinnati, OH. This hands-on role requires setting up CNC mills and lathes, editing programs, and performing in-process quality checks to keep tight-tolerance components on schedule.

The position offers a consistent five-day schedule and a safety-conscious, collaborative team. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in manufacturing, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with G and M code.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience setting up and running CNC mills and/or CNC lathes in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part specifications.
• Ability to edit CNC programs at the machine using G and M code.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and profile projectors.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and commitment to safety and quality.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to federal export-control requirements.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other production machines from blueprints and part specifications.
• Edit existing CNC programs at the control using G and M code to support production needs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues when parts, tooling, or programs do not run as expected.
• Adjust tool offsets, machine settings, speeds, and feeds to meet exact dimensional and quality requirements.
• Inspect parts during production using calipers, micrometers, and profile projectors.
• Operate and monitor multiple machines at the same time during the shift.
• Support a safe, organized work area and contribute to ongoing quality and process improvements.
