Job summary

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a CNC Machinist for a full-time third-shift role in Greenville, Michigan. The ideal candidate will set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines, read drawings, and use precision inspection tools to produce parts to tight tolerances.

Candidates must have hands-on 3-axis and 5-axis experience, Mastercam/CAD/CAM knowledge, and the ability to work on-site on the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift, collaborating with engineers and production

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating 3-axis CNC machines.
• Proficient with 5-axis machining and CAD/CAM tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precision inspections.
• Experience with Mastercam/CAD-CAM and programming troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CMM inspection and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Able to work the 3rd shift, on-site in Greenville, MI.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate large CNC machines.
• Perform machining with close tolerances and specified finishes.
• Produce pilot pieces for inspection and verify setups.
• Check setups and adjust variances; follow work instructions.
• Enter instructions based on programmer specifications.
• Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines simultaneously.
• Troubleshoot programming issues and inspect finished parts.
• Use Mastercam/CAD-CAM knowledge in the process.
• Perform 3-axis and 5-axis machining as required.
