Job summary

Certified PowerTrain is seeking a Working Supervisor – CNC Machining (3rd Shift) to operate CNC machines and lead the off-shift team. You will set up tooling, monitor quality, document metrics, and collaborate across departments to maintain schedules and productivity.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of Mazatrol and G-code, and a track record of improving processes while maintaining safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years hands-on CNC lathe/mill experience
• Proficient in English communication (written and spoken)
• 2+ years leadership or lead machinist experience
• Ability to train, mentor and motivate team members
• Strong problem solving and process improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills, set up tooling and offsets, deburr parts.
• Manufacture components per engineering prints and specs.
• Conduct quality inspections and document data for reporting.
• Provide guidance to less experienced machinists and problem-solve on the shop floor.
• Lead shift activities, manage schedules, and coordinate with other departments.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and quality while maintaining safety.
