Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a CNA for the 3rd shift on the 35814 AMC Summit - Med Surg: IU 4th Floor unit in Aurora, CO. This full-time role requires 0.9 FTE with a 36-hour work week and weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include assisting RNs with daily patient care, vital signs, documentation in EMR, and support through admissions, transfers, discharges, and basic testing as needed. BLS required within 45 days; HS diploma or GED/HSED accepted.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• BLS certification (AHA) required within 45 days.
• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and ambulation.
• Measures and documents blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and I&O.
• Performs rounds, communicates observations to RN, and documents in EMR.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Performs specimen collection and basic point-of-care testing as needed.
