Job summary

Saint Joseph Village of Chicago is seeking a reliable team player for a full-time AM schedule (32 hrs/week across four 8.5-hour shifts) with rotating weekends. The role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, medication reminders, and providing personal care in a 24/7 community.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent care. Education requires a High School Diploma/GED and CN certification may be required depending on state

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Certified Nursing Certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders per care plans.
• Assist residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning and transporting.
• Assist with dining room services at mealtimes, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance and documenting intake.
• Monitor residents' physical and cognitive wellbeing and report changes to the nurse and supervisor.
• Deliver nutritional supplements to residents and document intake per policy.
• Document resident care timely and accurately; participate in life enrichment activities.
