Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. is seeking a Chemical Process Operator I for 3rd shift (Sun-Thu, 10:30pm-7:00am) at our Cherry Hill, NJ site. You will operate equipment, maintain batch records, and support cGMP manufacturing.

The role requires a High School Diploma with 1 year in a cGMP facility; Associates degree preferred. You will work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on quality, safety, and documentation and participate in process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma with 1 year of experience in a cGMP facility.
• Preferred: Associates Degree in Science or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality.
• Sets up & operates equipment such as scales, mixers, pumps, CIP units, tanks and material handling equipment.
• Maintains accurate records (log books, raw material inventories, reconciliations, batch records).
• Weighs chemicals to prepare cleaning solution and production batches.
• Performs pH adjustments as required by batch or QA instructions.
• Transfers finished batches to specified area for further processing.
• Adheres to cGMPs and SOPs to ensure quality and integrity of products.
• Performs clean-up of equipment and rooms; collects samples and performs quality checks.
• Performs preventive maintenance on compounding equipment.
• Reports maintenance and safety issues to supervisor.
• Under supervision, weighs quantities and follows formulation procedures.
