Job summary

Bruker is hiring a Chemical Cleaning Technician for the 3rd shift in Carteret, NJ. The role involves preparing chemical batches and etch cleaning of components used in superconducting wire manufacturing.

You will follow written work instructions, maintain process documentation, and work in a safety-forward environment. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, 1–3 years of chemical experience, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience working with chemicals in manufacturing.
• Proficient in English reading and writing.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures and calibrated equipment.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with hazardous chemicals and safety practices.
• US citizen or permanent resident; no sponsorship.
• Reliable transportation to site.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Assist in the assembly of etch cleaned parts in a clean room.
• Assist in development and revision of etch cleaning procedures as needed.
• Maintain well organized manufacturing paperwork.
• Support and help improve Lean manufacturing practices.
• Work as part of a team with supervision and sometimes independently.
• Overtime as the production schedule requires.
