Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Associate to support clinical cell therapy production in a cGMP environment. You will perform aseptic processing, raw material prep, batch record execution, and cleanroom operations to ensure high-quality products.

The role requires collaboration across teams and adherence to quality standards. Training will occur on 1st or 2nd shift for ~60 days, with a 3rd shift schedule (9pm–7:30am) Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to follow SOPs and batch records precisely.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical product manufacturing for cell therapy per cGMP standards.
• Assemble raw materials and prepare for manufacturing.
• Execute batch records and report deviations.
• Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operations.
• Ensure timely material transfers and resource availability.
• Support process development transfers and SOP documentation with Development/Quality.
• Operate in cleanroom and office settings; manage movement and equipment as required.
