Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Manufacturing Finishing Operator for the 3rd shift to help ensure cast products meet quality and safety standards. You will operate equipment, inspect parts, and contribute to a safe, efficient work environment while delivering high-quality products.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read and perform basic math, and willingness to operate equipment safely in a United States manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Safely grind parts.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure castings meet specifications.
• Remove gating and sprue from casting without marking castings.
• Sort scrap castings and notify supervisor.
• Ensure castings are removed from sorting conveyors to proper tubs.
• Operate Cleaning Press and small punch press.
• Operate cut-off saw and hydraulic wedger.
• Operate small cleaning machine and Tennant sweeper.
• Support a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
