Job summary

Hickory House Recovery in New York invites a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join the 11pm–7am shift, working under the Behavior Health Manager. You will monitor and document client activities, support treatment plans, and ensure safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; must learn quickly and handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills for telephone and in-person interactions.
Positive demeanor with professional boundaries with clients.
Follow directives, adhere to facility policies, and implement with consistency.
Scheduling flexibility is required; holiday and weekend rotation.
Dependability and punctuality are essential for this role.
Must hold a valid driver s license and provide own insured transportation.

Responsibilities

Maintains HIPAA compliance in all communications regarding clients in treatment.
Engages with clients daily to support treatment plan implementation.
Leads educational groups for recovery and relapse prevention.
Assists with client activities in residential treatment settings.
Oversees medication dispensing per physician regulations and EMR schedule.
Documents all engagements in the EMR with concise communication.
Ensures attendance in sessions and outside meetings; maintains confidentiality.
Attends staff meetings and trainings as directed.
Maintains cleanliness and order of the Chateau and documents repairs as directed.
Follows all procedures in Behavioral Health Procedural Manual.
