Job summary

Hickory House Recovery seeks a Behavioral Health Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) to support clients under supervision of the Behavioral Health Manager. You will help implement the person-centered treatment plan, monitor client activities, and document engagements in the EMR with HIPAA-compliant communication.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, reliability, and a willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and communicate effectively in person and by phone.
• Professional boundaries with clients must be understood and maintained.
• Strong time management, dependability, and punctuality are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and transportation.
• Flexibility to work scheduling including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HIPAA compliance in all communications regarding clients in treatment.
• Engage daily with clients and support implementation of the treatment plan.
• Facilitate educational groups for recovery and relapse.
• Operate with clients in residential treatment settings.
• Assist with medication dispensing per physician guidance and EMR documentation.
• Accurately document client engagements in the EMR with concise notes.
• Ensure clients attend individual and group sessions and approved outside meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and professional boundaries.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in maintaining facility cleanliness and report needed repairs.
